(As per SEBI (Research Analysts) Regulations, 2014 and Master Circular dated 21 May 2024)

To empower investors by providing transparent, timely, and research-backed investment recommendations in compliance with SEBI regulations and in alignment with investors’ risk-return profiles.

Mission

To ensure that investors are treated fairly, receive accurate and unbiased research, and have access to grievance redressal mechanisms as per SEBI guidelines.

Services Provided by Research Analyst

  1. Publishing independent, objective, and well-researched reports on securities or sectors.
  2. Providing recommendations or opinions concerning listed or proposed-to-be-listed securities.
  3. Disclosures of any financial interest, material conflict of interest, or past relationships with the issuer.
  4. Ensuring that research reports are supported by facts, financial data, and reasonable assumptions.

Investor Rights

  1. Receive independent and unbiased investment research and advice. 
  2. Receive disclosures of potential conflicts of interest, personal interest, and research methodology.
  3. Timely redressal of investor grievances by the Research Analyst or firm.
  4. Access to the SEBI SCORES platform for filing complaints against the Research Analyst.
  5. Transparency in fee structure and services offered.

Investor Responsibilities

  1. Read the research reports thoroughly and understand risk disclosures before making any investment decisions.
  2. Be aware of the financial interest, if any, of the Research Analyst in the security being recommended.
  3. Lodge complaints with the Research Analyst in a timely manner and provide relevant supporting documentation.
  4. File grievances on the SEBI SCORES platform if not resolved satisfactorily.
  5. Avoid relying solely on short-term performance or tips without understanding the underlying risks.

  • Timeline for Redressal:
    • Acknowledgement of complaint: Within 2 working days
    • Final resolution: Within 30 calendar days
    • Filing of Action Taken Report (ATR) on SCORES is mandatory for the RA and shall be done within 30 days of receipt.

  • How to Lodge a Complaint:
    1. Visit https://scores.gov.in
    2. Register using your email ID and mobile number
    3. File complaint under “Research Analyst” category
    4. Upload relevant documents and grievance description
    5. Track complaint status and receive email/SMS updates
